Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups 1 ½ all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled

  • ½ tsp ½ baking soda

  • ¼ tsp ¼ salt

  • ½ cup ½ unsalted butter, room temperature

  • ½ cup ½ packed light brown sugar

  • ¼ cup ¼ granulated sugar

  • 1 large 1 egg

  • ¾ cup ¾ creamy peanut butter

  • 1 tsp 1 vanilla extract

  • Finish:

  • cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup ¼ christmas sprinkles (jimmies)

  • 24 24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Directions

  • Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside
  • In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat the butter until smooth
  • Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar and mix until creamy
  • Add the egg and mix until fully combined
  • Add the peanut butter and vanilla extract and mix until smooth
  • Add the dry ingredients and mix just until the dough comes together
  • Cover and chill the dough for 1 hour
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Roll the dough into balls, then roll each ball in sprinkles followed by sugar
  • Place 12 dough balls per baking sheet
  • Bake for 11–12 minutes until the edges are set
  • Let cool for 2–3 minutes, then press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center
  • Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely
