Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup 31.25 g flour

  • 3 large 3 eggs

  • 1 cup 236.59 ml milk

  • 2 tbsp. 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp. 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp. 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 1 loaf of bread (Brioche is best)

  • 3 tbsp. 3 tbsp Nutella

  • 1/2 cup 74 g blueberries

  • 1/2 cup 72 g strawberries

  • 1/2 cup 60 g raspberries

  • 1 1 banana

  • 1 tbsp. 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for garnish)

  • Maple syrup (for drizzling)

Directions

  • In a large bowl, start with the flour, then slowly add & whisk the milk, then eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, sugar & salt
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium heat. While it heats, dip the bread into the milk mixture (about 10 seconds each side) until well absorbed
  • Lay the soaked bread slices on the skillet. Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crisp.
  • Take a plate, arrange a few pieces of fruit around the edges for garnish.
  • Place one slice of French toast in the center. Add banana slices and blueberries on top, then drizzle lightly with syrup.
  • Stack a second slice of French toast over the first, topping it with more banana, raspberries, and strawberries. Add another drizzle of syrup.
  • Finish with a third slice of French toast on top. Fan out a thinly sliced strawberry, leaving the top in tact (see video for technique) and place it as the centerpiece.
  • Warm Nutella in the microwave for 30 seconds, then drizzle over the stack
  • Add one final drizzle of syrup and dust with powdered sugar to serve.
