Ingredients

  • For the Martini:

  • oz vanilla vodka

  • ¾ oz ¾ banana liqueur

  • ¾ oz ¾ banana bread syrup

  • ½ oz ½ coffee liqueur

  • oz fresh espresso

  • For the Banana Bread Syrup:

  • 2 2 overripe bananas (cut or smashed)

  • ½ cup ½ white sugar

  • ½ cup ½ brown sugar

  • 1 cup 1 water

  • ½ tsp ½ ½tsp cinnamon

  • tsp nutmeg

  • ½ tsp ½ vanilla extract

  • For the Rim & Garnish:

  • 3 3 banana chips (finely crushed)

  • ½ tsp ½ brown sugar (for rim mixture)

  • ½ tsp ½ simple syrup (for rimming)

  • 1 1 fresh banana slice

  • ½ tsp ½ brown sugar (for brûlée topping)

Directions

  • Add all syrup ingredients except the vanilla extract to a pot, stir, and simmer on low for about 10 minutes
  • Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract, then strain and let cool
  • Lightly coat half the rim of your glass with simple syrup, then dip into the crushed banana chips and brown sugar mixture
  • Add all martini ingredients to a shaker with ice
  • Shake hard until well chilled and a creamy foam forms
  • Strain into your glass
  • Top the banana slice with brown sugar and torch until caramelized, then place on the drink
